ED’s
Glorified Rice
the Extreme
 

1 cup raw rice                                2 cups cold water
1 tsp. salt                                      1 Tbs Butter
1/2 cup sugar                                   1= 8-3/4 oz. Pineapple Tidbits
1=red apple coarsely chopped      1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup english walnuts                   1/2 cup pecans
1 diced pear                                  1 diced mango
1 sliced banana                             1 cup coconut fakes
1/2 of a 10 oz.jar Maraschino cherries drained
(or whatever’s left, you haven’t eaten)
1-1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
2 - 8oz. tubs Cool Whip topping

In a medium sauce pan bring water to boil stir in salt, add butter then rice, cook per package
instructions taking care to not over cook. Stirring occasionally to separate grains, let cool.
Prepare apple, pear, mango and banana placing chunks and slices into large mixing bowl.
Mix and  coat chopped and sliced fruit with ‘Fresh Fruit’ to avert spoilage, refrigerate until
ready for use. Drain pineapple and cherries, mix with coconut into fruit mix.
Add sugar and vanilla to rice mix well, then fold rice mixture and nuts into prepared fruit.
Fold in Dream Whip until all ingredients are covered, cover and chill for at least 1 hour.
Then enjoy the Extreme taste sensation.


Glorified Rice
(Original Basic Recipe)

1 cup raw rice                              2 cups cold water
1 tsp. sal                                      1 Tbs Butter
1 cup sugar                                  1= 8w oz. Pineapple Tidbits
1=red apple coarsely chopped     1/2 tsp. vanilla
1-2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 cup heavy Whipping Cream topping or 1 tub Dream Whip

In a medium sauce pan bring water to boil adding salt. Add butter and allow to melt,
add rice and cook following package instructions.
Prepare other ingredients in large mixing bowl. When rice is done let cool.
Mix rice, 1/2 cup sugar apple and pineapple.
Prepare whipping cream add vanilla and 1/2 cup sugar then whip.Fold in whipping
cream to mixture until all ingredients are covered well.
Set covered bowl in refrigerator and let cool at least one hour before serving.
